Chachachachachanges

So, many of you know, my happy little fam moved from Arlington to Dallas this last month.  Its been busy busy busy-ness, but I think we are finally close to finished unpacking.  I have alot of little projects and and keeping myself busy decorating and setting up.  I hope to include some of my before and after furniture pieces and maybe a house tour later on when I'm done.  It is so colorful and fun.  I look forward to going home everyday!

In these old apartmentt pictures, I am wearing lace dress from Charming Charlies.  Check out those beautiful bell sleeves.  Scored this puppy on sale of course.  In the new place, Im wearing a old Mad Caddies band T that I've had pretty much since high school and a striped skirt from TJ Maxx or Marshalls...Can't remember.  First time wearing it tho.  Ha!  The boots are from Guilt Group.  They are Sam Edelman.  Pretty rad, huh?

Florida Vaca - Day Un et Deux

Good morning! Its been a good time so far over here in Orlando. Lots of relaxing, Disney-landia, EATING, etcetera, etcetera. For those on my FB, you have seen these pictures already, but I have yet to post any on the blog. So here is day one and two, short version. Day one, we did nothing. Flew over and then relaxed and hung out on the couch. We are staying at a cool resort type place. The hotel room is like an apartment. Huge 2 bedroom with a kitchen and covered patio facing a lagoon!!! My momma bear and Elisa wake us up with pancakes in the manana. I like that. ;-) Day 2, we went and explored the city a bit. We walked around Lake Eola Park and had some delish vegan food at Ethos Vegan Kitchen and then some frozen yogurt. Yummers! Came home and went to see some horseys at the Arabian Knights show. I think I have gained 10 lbs, so mostly i have loose Ts and cut off shorts. Have a great week yall! Today IS a New Day

Good afternoon everybody!  Today was a good day.  I am currently listening to all of City and Colour's albums, which are absolutely breathtaking.  They make me happy.  I have been melancholy lately, and have decided to change my mentality.  I control the way I feel and I refuse to let anybody else bring me down (just like the Christina Aguilera song).  As long as I can, I want to keep this thought process and want this positivity in my home and for others to feel it around me.  I just want happiness.  That is all.

Anywho, with Seb at his dad's and Nan leaving for work, I had the day all to myself.  I googled "quaint restaurants in Arlington" and didn't find any. Ha!  However, it did lead me to find these little shops right down the road.  Shoppes at BrownStone is like an antique store set up with different little vendors displaying their arts and craftiness and just all around cool stuff.  There was so much baby girl stuff.  I wanted to buy everything for all the little girls I knew, but with my move and trip to FL, had to hold back.  I did, however, find a store with the positive message I've been longing for lately and bought a little piggy bank at 30% off and car magnet reading "Tomorrow is another day".  Just because today was a tough one, doesn't mean tomorrow has to be.  There was cute little burlap bags with positive thoughts as well, but the pocketbook wouldn't allow the purchase either. :-/  Afterwards, I visited the Mexican restaurant there w/in the shops and had a super yummy meal.  It was actually pretty good for Tex Mex.








So, this is what I wore on my day out.  This dress is actually one of our Etsy items, but we haven't taken pictures to list it and I've always been drawn to the pretty dark green embroidery and little birds all over the dress.  I also recently purchased this great little bag at Target.  The colors are amazing and the pom poms are so sweet.  I've been wanting to pom pom everything lately.  Ask my sister.  Heh.

This Strange Plan is Random at Best

Busy, busy day!!!  Signed my lease and re-viewed the inside of the duplex.  Its absolutely dreamy!  Made me want to clean the apartment right away.  Me n my Seb Seb bought cleaning supplies and I was able to clean the bathroom today. Ha.  Thats it.  I scrubbed and scrubbed and the shower looked really good....then it dried and there was white soap scum? I'm guessing thats what it is on the grout.  The grout is dark and it turned white...what can I buy to fix that??  Any suggestions?  Also was able to see how I am going to lay out my bedroom furniture and Seb's in his new room.  Im super excited to get to it!  Went to NorthPark and then sold some stuff at Buffalo Exchange.  Also bought a ton of liquids for my liquid diet this week!  Don't tempt me with your delicious solids this week please!!!  Anywho, this is what I wore today to run all my errands ...very simple and comfy.

I Show You My Car, But I Don't Drive

Listening to KOL this early morn, hence the title.  I really do like that band.  :-D  Reminds me, I need to get started on the Bonnaroo Road Trip Mix 2012!!!  Its in about a week n a half!!!
Anywho, visited the parents today.  My bro's best friend graduated high school this year and this is what I wore to the graduation party.  Got to see an old friend that I missed and do miss still.  She is about to have a baby girl....going to her baby shower tomorrow actually.  She is such a beautiful pregnant lady.
Also, redone my hair.  Quite the vibrant red...it'll fade out...meant for it to be more of an orange-y color.  Darn that L'Oreal!!!  Also, this awesome headpiece made to look like a House of Harlow piece is actually by a girl on ebay - Hair Couture by Melissa.  Her pieces are pretty rad.  Click me to check them out!
