Today's outfit I got at the Melrose Trading Post while on my LA visit. The gorgeous, light, creamy, orange color caught my eye right away..reminds me of orange sorbet or those Dream Bars we got at lunch time in elementary school. Yum Yum! I intentionally cut my head off in most pics due to the fact that I only got a couple hrs of sleep last nite...I was unable to get up early enough to brush my hair and conceal my black under eye bags.
I've also added one more set of pics of my trip (probably my last set)....visiting Santa Monica Pier, feasting on vegan Thai at California Vegan Restaurant in Hollywood, and sites while taking a stroll in the Silver Lake neighborhood. Good times.

Good afternoon! Hope you all had a good one. I purchased this orangey red - blood orangey - gauze-y flow-y top I wore today from Etsy vendor Meat Market Vintage for a measley $19 bucks compared to a very similar one pictured below by Jen's Pirate Booty for $110! Bargain shopper for life, baby!!!
Also, putting day 2 (day 1 was solid sleeping :-/) of LA trip pics on the blog for fam/ friends. It consisted of eating, eating, shopping, walking, and people watching (staring at the good looking people, rather). :-) I wore my self-made velvet bell bottoms and and H&M band T for comfort.

Afternoon folks. Quick post of todays outfit and photos of the most gorgeous beach I've ever seen (in my life at least), Malibu. I picked about 9 or 10 pictures and will post more of our trip in upcoming posts.
We got home super late from the airport due to delayed flight (nutso TX weather), so grabbed first thing I could find at 1 in the AM....my new indian cat shirt purchased in Venice and a long velvet skirt. I actually wore my plain black litas to work, but opted for the spiked for the picture...these are greatness except I've lost a couple spikes...they came with extras, so I'm not fretting too much about it. These are also new specs, purchased from www.eyebuydirect.com. I love them so. Anywho, Hope you all had a wonderful weekend!
Kitty Cat Shirt - Venice Beach vendor
Velvet Maxi Skirt - Thrifted
Jeffrey Campbell Spiked Litas - Nastygal.com
Next are a few pictures from our trip. It was mostly relaxing, which was much needed...walking around quite a bit, shopping and just enjoying the beauty around us. All went well except my eating habits caused me to become even more lumpy.....not attractive. Its ok tho, had a blizast!!

Afternoon good folks. Today is the eve of my vacation to sunny (only partially) LA. I am missing SXSW, however, and along with that my love Glen Hansard!!!! AAAACHHH! Nearly quit LA when I heard of his appearance. The Swell Season concert a couple years ago was the most gorgeous, passionate show I have ever attended. It took my breath away. Literally. I nearly cried because it was so heartfelt and beautiful. I guess I'll have to see him in April with Eddie Vedder for $80 a pop. He is so worth it!!
Anyshmoo, this is what I wore last week sometime. I didn't have time to brush my hair that morning, so......
Did I mention I miss my little Bug like crazy. He is at his daddy's for spring break....a fair exchange, as I will have him a week in June (his daddy's month), for our family trip to Orlando. My heart is breaking for him....you don't know what you have until it is not there. Gosh, I feel so empty without him. I love him so.
Apologies for the varying sizes of pictures....odd.

Afternoon folks. Today was a super busy day at work. Not a big fan of those type days. Im glad I wore my super comfy trapeze moo moo dress (wear this many-o times and previously in another post). I was able to eat like mad (aka relieve stress) and not have to suck in, which means comfort. And lots of it. Much appreciated. I also got to wear my new Jeffrey Campbell XIT platform strappy shoes. They are quite amazing, are they not? This was the highlight of my day. How was your day?
Anywho, first I want to share some of the most adorable pictures of my sweetest angel, Seb Seb at his first official baseball practice on Saturday afternoon. He is just a little dollface!
& Today's Outfit:
Corduroy Jumper: Old Navy
Gray/ White Tank - Wal Mart
